Bonus depreciation & Section 179
A $100,000 work truck is usually written off a little each year. In 2026, 100% bonus depreciation lets your business deduct the whole $100,000 in year one. Section 179 does the same thing, up to $2,560,000 of gear, and it starts fading once you buy more than $4,090,000 worth.
Good for: Businesses buying equipment or vehicles in 2026.
