Roth IRAs for kids
A child with a real job can have a Roth IRA. In 2026 you can put in up to $7,500, or less if the child earned less than that. The money then grows tax-free for decades. For example, a teen who earns $4,000 babysitting can put all $4,000 in, and it can grow with no tax ever.
Good for: Parents and grandparents of kids with job income.
